A serial entrepreneur with over 40 years experience, Jim has participated in a half dozen startups. His current role at AirVM and Wesley Clover places him squarely in the cloud computing revolution space. Prior to that he served as Chief Architect of the Nokia Mobile Phones Product Creation Centre in Vancouver as well as co-founding and serving as CTO of Quickmobile. Jim is a recognized expert in mobile technologies and a pioneering leader in VoIP technology. He was a co-founder and VP of Software Engineering at Vienna Systems – a company that was acquired by Nokia in a $100M acquisition. A graduate of University of Waterloo, he was recognized by that institution in 2013 as the recipient of the Alumni Achievement Medal.
